Garden Renovation

We were asked by an existing client to help with their garden project.  They wanted something which could be used for both adults and kids, would be low maintenance and modern but also have a Mediterranean feel.

We spent a couple of meetings discussing the options on where the areas were in the garden that got the evening sun for eating and entertaining.  We gave them ideas on how this could be achieved along with lots of images to get a feel for what they did and didn’t like.

Because the garden was extremely sloped and accessed by a lot of steps with a high retaining wall which they wanted to keep, we settled on a tiered design with a 3 sided boarder area and AstroTurf at the top that could be seen from the house but also double as an area for the kids to play.  This leads down to a full length patio area where the last of the day's sun can be enjoyed for both eating and relaxing with friends and family.
